Trash and Recycling

In April of 2020, the Town of Carbondale took over the administration of trash and recycling service for River Valley Ranch following their decision to move to a single hauler service.

Mountain Waste will continue to provide the service, but all customer service and billing will be handled by the Town at (970) 510-1202 or trash@carbondaleco.net

Trash pickup is every Tuesday except on holidays. Cans must remain inside until 6 am on trash day unless the trash is in a bear-proof can in which case it can be put out the night before. Cans must be put back by 8 pm on trash day. Recycling is now on an every-other-week schedule. The calendar can be viewed here.
